Friday marks the end of Washington Wine Month, so why not celebrate it by going wine tasting? Local Seattle neighborhood Magnolia Village is hosting their popular Vino in the Village event.
Bring your own glass and explore the neighborhood merchants while tasting special selections from 11 Washington wineries. Better yet, stock up on your favorite wines! The event is a fundraiser for the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. That means no sales tax on wines purchased, so it’s like getting them on sale. Plus, proceeds help fund the annual arts festival that takes place in the summer.
Participating merchant Shaun Myrick says, “I love to host this event because it’s a fun neighborhood gathering. I have great appreciation for wine and winemakers and I enjoy sharing that with our community. Vino in the Village is like bringing Wine Country to Magnolia.”
Shaun’s love for wine is apparent on his lifestyle blog where he’s posted a delectable recipe for Zucchini Roll Antipasti. This flavorful appetizer is a fantastic pairing for the Evergreen Riesling being poured at his studio during the event. He’s got even more great recipes to share, so be sure to visit him during Vino in the Village!

Eye of the Needle Winery
