During a recent dinner, we brought out our trusty wine aroma wheel to help out a friend identify some of the aromas in our wine line up. The wine aroma wheel was designed by Ann C Noble while she was teaching at UC Davis wine program. The wine aroma wheel can be a great tool to help you identify and describe the aromas common in wine.
After dinner, an uninvited guest decided to check out what all the excitement was about. The naughty kitten climbed up and started sniffing the wine. Ed found it hilarious and grabbed the camera. After first checking out the bottles, the kitten checked out the aroma wheel.
I guess the wine aroma wheels really can help anyone learn how to identify wine aromas!
