Taste Washington is the grand finale of Washington Wine Month. Traditionally the last weekend of March, this year Taste of Washington has expanded to four fun wine packed days. In addition to the grand tasting and seminars. you can now experience Taste Washington in a variety of means from rustic to elegance.
Red & White Party
The second annual Red & White Party kicks off Taste Washington on Thursday March 26. Hosted at AQUA by El Gaucho, this event features highly ranked Washington wines poured from magnum bottles. In addition to the prestigious Washington wines, Chef Wesley Hood will prepare a delicious array of artisan appetizers to enjoy. Festive, fun with a touch of elegance, don your red and white cocktail attire and join the celebration. Live music from the Ben Fleck Trio add to the magic of the evening.

Farm – to – Table
Friday March 27, wine and food lovers travel to the source to meet the producers and taste the local delicacies paired with Washington wine. Three lunch experiences have been designed in collaboration with a local farmer/producer, a local chef and a Washington winemaker to create a quintessential gourmet Washington experience.
1) Cheese Bliss at Kurtwood Farms on Vashon Island or
2) Exploring the lush Snohomish Valley at Willie Greens Organic Farm or
3) A Deep Dive into Oyster Growing at Taylor Shellfish on Samish Bay
Transportation provided by Evergreen Escapes, departing Washington Convention Center at 10am and returning at 4pm.
New Vintage has moved to Washington Wine Month and become part of Taste Washington. You may know it better under its former name of 20Something. New Vintage is the premiere Taste Washington event created for the younger wine lover on March 27. 35 wineries will be pouring their wines for you to taste and three different chefs will be providing delicious bites to sample as well. DJ Tina T will be providing the music in our new upbeat downtown location.
Four Seasons Hotel
Taste Washington Grand Tasting is Saturday and Sunday March 28-29, 2015. Aisle after aisle of winemaker pouring their wines, interspersed with chefs offering tasty bites. Local chefs will be performing live demonstrations as well. Don’t miss the ever popular oyster bar!
Ready for a palate cleanser after enjoying an hour or two of wine? You can find beer, cider and coffee to sample before you head back for more wine from the different AVAs around Washington state.
