Taste Washington, the biggest and best food and wine experience in the Northwest, turns 21 this year! Over the years, Taste Washington has matured into a series of special wine and food events, culminating in the Grand Tasting weekend.
In 2018, Taste Washington offers a number of occasions for you to revel in the bounty of delicious Washington food and wine. From casual and intimate to elegant and luxurious to the sheer abundance of the Grand Tasting, there is something for every wine lover to delight in.
Red & White Party – March 22, 2018 7pm
Red & White Party kicks off the Taste Washington weekend with style and the best Washington has to offer. Some of the most elite Washington winemakers will be pouring their premium wines, found nowhere else during the weekend. Enjoy many 90+ scored wines while you are dressed to the nines, in red and white of course! Gourmet appetizers will be prepared by AQUA.
Taste Washington on the Farm – March 23, 2018 10am
Taste Washington on the Farm is an excursion to a Pacific Northwest farm for tour and a specially prepared luncheon. Learn more about the farm and the bounty of fresh food. After the tour, you will meet and greet with chef and winemaker then enjoy a spectacular lunch prepared by the chef, from fresh farm products and paired with Washington wine. Choose from 3 different farm to table options:
- Wine in the City at the Center for Urban Horticulture
- Island Dining at the HeyDay Farm on Bainbridge Island
- Fly Away to Wine at the Finnriver Farm & Cidery in Chimacum
The New Vintage – March 23 2018 7pm
Friday night is dance party night with The New Vintage. Designed for the young and young at heart, The New Vintagefeatures fantastic Washington wine, gourmet bites from celebrated chefs and music to make you want to get up and dance! This year, The New Vintage will take up residence at the Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center.
Taste and Savor Tour – March 24, 2018 9am
Taste Washington and Savor Seattle Tours have planned an extra special, early-morning food tour of beloved icon Pike Place Market. The Taste and Savor Tour is unique to Taste Washington and will only be offered once this year. You will beat the crowds during this chance to personally meet with the vendors and to sample some of the best treats that Pike Place has to offer.
Seminars – March 24 – 25, 2018 10:30am
Each year, Taste Washington offers exemplary educational seminars about facets of Washington wine. Experts from around the state and nation converge to provide information and a tasting experience to stimulate your mind and palate.

Grand Tasting – March 24 – 25, 2018 1pm
Taste Washington is best known for its Grand Tasting. Held at Century Link Event Center, the cavernous space is filled with wine and food to the bursting. The Grand Tasting showcases some of the best wine, food and talent that Washington has to offer. Sample, sip and savor your way through rows of wine, food, coffee, desserts and even beer!
Sunday Brunch – March 25 10am
A special Sunday brunch has been added to the Taste Washington lineup. This special brunch is a glorious triangulation of food, cocktails and music to send off the last day of Taste Washington. Enjoy Grey Goose Bloody Marys and St~Germain Brunch Cocktails while you listen to the music of Kris Orlowski and indulge in brunch prepared by Executive Chef Josh Henderson and Daniel Cox.
Although Taste Washington has just turned 21, all Taste Washington events are 21 and over.
