There is no doubt about it, Seattle magazine knows how to throw a great party! This summer we attended their annual Red, White, and Brew event which is not only a fantastic tasting experience, but also a celebration of the winners – our heroes – of Seattle magazine’s Annual Washington Wine Awards. Washington wine, Washington beer, and food prepared by some of our crazy good local restaurants are what this party is made of.
During a brief ceremony on-stage, people who are taking our ever evolving Washington wine industry to the next level were recognized for their contributions. Among them, Dr. Wade Wolfe of Thurston Wolfe Winery received the Walter Clore Washington Wine Ambassador Award.
The highlight of the event was a walk around tasting featuring the winners of the Washington State Wine Awards in the Winery and Winemaker, Red Wine, White Wine, Sparkling Wine, and Rosé categories.
If that sounds enticing, then be sure to purchase tickets to the Seattle magazine 50th Anniversary Party! For those awaiting a night to play dress up, this is it. Guests are encouraged to get gussied up in their favorite black and white suits and party dresses with a black tie optional dress code.
