New Woodinville brewery 20 Corners Brewing is a little off the beaten path. Tucked away into a cluster of warehouses northwest of the “Artisan Hill” district in Woodinville Wine Country, many probably don’t even know there is a business with its doors open to the public there. Nevertheless, beer lovers have clearly found the place and made it a destination. On a recent Thursday night the place was full of folks enjoying some good Washington beer and a broad array of food options.
Walk through the doors, and it’s hard to miss the pass through to the kitchen with a Wood Stone oven to the right. Big screen TVs dedicated to outdoor sporting events adorn the walls.
Our goal is simple: Make better beer that’s inspired by our outdoor lifestyle
Either belly up to the long bar where over 20 beers are on tap, or have a seat at one of many tables. With that number of beer selections, including everything from IPAs to a Porter, you may have a hard time choosing just one. If that’s the case, ask about a tasting sampler.  It’s not on the menu, but is available. I ordered the hefeweizen, a refreshing option to wash down the Club Chicken “Fold”. Imagine a flatbread made of pizza dough fresh out of the oven and topped with sandwich fixings. It’s a fun take on a classic, a departure from most pub food, and the portions are ample!
Our visit came about as a result of learning that the 20 Corners Brewing is taking part in Rockin’ Sips, EFESTE’s wildly popular annual wine, beer, and music event dedicated to raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The brewery will be pouring several of their Washington craft beers. They’ve also donated a gift certificate for the incredible drawing that Rockin’ Sip guests will have an opportunity to enter.
Rockin’ Sips attracts 300 guests annually. Over the years, the winery has donated over $115,000 to LLS with the support of the community and generous businesses who support the event. In addition to refreshing craft beers from 20 Corners Brewing and wines of EFESTE, guests will enjoy special wine selections from Pepper Bridge Winery, Amavi Cellars, and William Church Winery. It’s the perfect event for fans of Washington wine and beer.
