William Church Winery Spring Release, We are throwing a French themed release party both Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 to celebrate the first release of our Bordeaux blend called "Sur La Mer". Plus many have been waiting for the next release of our Cabernet Sauvignon after a years absence. The 2007 Cabernet is 90% pure, silky Cabernet fruit with 10% beautiful, flavorful Petit Verdot. The combination is spicy and structured loaded with flavors of blackberry, black currents & roasted coffee.
"Sur La Mer" is classic blend of 40% Cabernet, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec & 10% Petit Verdot. Refined & elegant the black fruit flavors of this wine are smooth and superbly balanced with a plush mouthfeel that lingers on and on. The name means "on the sea" in French & has special significance to us. Come try these wines and find out the special meaning when you visit!
