Hiwatha Rhyans, Lead Brewer at Capital Hill Elysian, will be tapping the first keg of Elysian Lenny Spruce Pale Ale at 7pm on Friday August 4, 2017. The tapping will be celebrated with a very special performance from Wild Powwers.
Elysian invites beer and music lovers (and do-gooders see below*) to join in the release of Lenny Spruce (5.8% ABV), is the fourth of six beers to be released as part of Elysian’s Capitol Hill Series. This infamous Chinook bittered Pale Ale is
“obscenely baptized under a shower of spruce tips and juniper berries that incite sensational aromas of pine, fruit and resinous notes, creating an outspoken Pacific Northwest woodsy flavor”.
*Proceeds from Elysian Lenny Spruce, sold during the launch party August 4th, will benefit the ACLU of Washington, which works to ensure justice, freedom and equality for all people in Washington state, focusing on people and groups who have historically been disenfranchised.
Drink some great beer, groove to some tunes and support those that don’t always get the support that they need. What better way to spend a Friday night? Oh yeah, invite a bunch of friends to join you!
