Pike XXXXX Stout Mustard recently won its second major award: 2017 Good Food Foods Award.
The Good Foods Award is presented to products which exemplify, “tasty, authentic and responsible food systems”. Pike’s excellent stout mustard was recognized in the pantry category. Less than 200 foods and beverages were recognized by Good Foods, across all the categories nationwide.

Last Saturday was the third annual Washington Beer Open House. Over 50 breweries participated but circumstances necessitated that I just visit one that day. I went down to my neighborhood pub, Lake City Elliott Bay Brewing.
Elliott Bay Brewing has three neighborhood pubs: Burien, Lake City and West Seattle. Each pub makes beer so at each open house they were pouring two beers from each brewpub.
