Stout is a strong dark beer, originating from Ireland. Once synonymous with Guinness, now you can fine quality stouts from around the world, including Washington state!
Stouts range from dry to sweet, these beers are notable for their roasted malt characteristics. Made from barley or oat, stouts made from oatmeal tend to be sweeter. Some stout types include:
