The Second Sight Strong Scotch Ale is a deep mahogany colored ale. The nose, the mouth, and even the finish, are all about the malt baby! But this Washington beer isn’t a malt monster. The hops keep the malts in check. Hops are almost an invisible partner in this relationship!
Bit of malty sweetness in the mid-palate is chased by bittering hops that combine to create a finish that is neither cloying nor overwhelming bitter. This story is about balance and it is something that Beaux Bowman and his brewing staff excel at.
