Pyramid-Outburst-IPA-12-oz-CanPyramid Breweries began as Hart Brewing in 1984 in Kalama Washington. The Hart Pale Ale was one of America’s first microbrews. Intensely proud of its northwest heritage, Pyramid decided to make a bold statement honoring the Northwest with its new label art debuting April 17. The Outburst Imperial IPA pays homage to Pyramid Breweries beginning in Kalama by donning nearby iconic Mt. St. Helens.  Pyramid-Hefeweizen-16oz-CanTheir award winning Washington Hefeweizen displays the quintessential Pacific Northwest scenery of a tree-lined mountain lake. All of Pyramid beers are brewed in Seattle and/or Portland. They are proud of that fact and they don’t want you to have any doubt of that!

2017_CURVEBALL_12ozBottlePyramid Breweries’ Curve Ball Summer Blonde Ale, also sports a brand new look as it announces its anticipated return to the seasonal line up. Seattle’s distinctive skyline is emblazoned against the Pyramids with classic baseball and stadium images in the forefront of the new design.

Pyramid Breweries re-branding goes beyond new labels. It is about believing that the best beer drinking experiences are shared. It is about inviting you to enjoy different experiences and adventures that Washington and Oregon has to offer.  It is representing Pyramid’s brand ideals of adventure, curiosity and discovery, while making a renewed and intensified commitment to the Pacific Northwest.

“Pyramid’s core element is celebrating life’s everyday adventures,” said Pyramid General Manager Robert Rentsch. “We found that creating great beer is a given in today’s industry, but what’s next? For us, it is Pacific Northwest pride, seeking the best local ingredients and encouraging our consumers to enjoy their passions with craft beer. We are here to inspire those moments with fantastic beers worth sharing, and to introduce new styles of beer along the way.”

At Wine Beer Washington, that is what we often find interesting and why consumers develop brand loyalty. It is about the story behind the producers, the connection or relationship they feel with the beverage producers and the experiences they have while drinking that beverage that influences whether they will buy that beverage again just as much, if not more than the taste and price.

Pyramid Canned Beers

Part of that adventure, is the ease and convenience of canned Washington beer. Cans are quick to chill, easy to crush flat and dispose of, easy to carry and hard to break! Pyramid Pale Ale was their first beer available in cans last spring. They first used a mobile canning truck but it was so successful, Pyramid decided to add their own canning line. Now five Pyramid beers will be available in cans:

  • Pyramid Hefeweizen
  • Pyramid Outburst Citrus IPA
  • Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA
  • Pyramid Pale Ale
  • Pyramid Thunderhead IPA
