Is it good luck or bad luck to be the first to share my love of Cabernet? We shall find out!
At Debuts and Discoveries, I was blown away by the Glencorrie Columbia Valley Cabernet. It isn’t the cheapest Cab out there but when you taste that good, you don’t have to be. This is big and complex but not overpowering.
I use to think I just was not a fan of “big” reds, but wound up changing my mind after tasting a 2004 Barons V Cabernet Sauvignon – a well balanced Cab that pairs perfectly with food. I am looking forward to trying the latest vintage by Barons V and see how it compares with the other Cabs from around the world.
