Washington Wine Twitter Directory

Twellow is a yellow pages for the Twitter. It helps people find other people and businesses on Twitter to meet their needs and interests. I talked to Twellow last week and convinced them that Washington wines needed their own sub-category under wine, in light of Washington wines excellence and increased awareness.

New Washington Wine Directory

I am delighted to announce that they emailed me to today that they were putting my recommendation into action. Twellow just announced the new category to the general public on their Twitter stream.  Check out the new directory category for Washington wine.

We now have another tool in our arsenal to educate and celebrate the great quality of Washington State wines.

Twellow Twitter directory is part automatic and partly based upon submissions. You can create your own Twellow profile and associate with up to 10 different categories.  If you are a Washington Wine winemaker,  blogger,  marketer or just an over the top Washington Wine lover on Twitter, you can add yourself to the Twellow directory. Twellow will continue to add additional resources to the directory as well.

  1. Bean, bless you for sharing this. I have been thinking about trying to put such a list together or suggest to the Washington Wine Commission that they do the same. This is awesome!

      Thanks Sean,

Ed and I have been working on our own directory/database with Facebook and Twitter information for the breweries and wineries but it won’t be done until the first of the year.

We will continue working on that project, but I like how the Twellow directory lists industry people, hospitality, aficionados, bloggers etc as well as the wineries. I think it will be a good resource.

  2. Excellent! I am happy to hear that you are working on Fb as well. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist on the WA winery side.

Many people believe that to dominate the world the first step is to take over radio and television (and now internet) but actually it is to affect any and all classification that touches on your world, such as a Twitter directory. (All librarians, indexers and ontologists reading this are nodding their heads in agreement.) Way to go Bean!!

  4. I have profile on twitter I have sent the follow request to the Washington Wine Accessories. I would like to be in update with this directory.
