Congratulations to Seattle Beer Authority, wine and beer store, on a truly Grand opening today!
The day started right with a nice tasting of spring beers for customers to enjoy as they browsed the coolers and the wine racks. Beer tasting were accompanied by samples of Outrageous Nuts, a spicy snack that was meant to be shared with a brew. The Washington beer being poured early in the afternoon was one of my favorites, Pike’s Uncle Monk Triple Belgium Ale. Yum!
With 20% off their impressive beer, wine and cider selection, the line to the cash register was long and constant. Customers didn’t seem to mind the wait as they discussed their purchases and sipped their samples. It was well worth the wait to clear them out of their 5 remaining bottle of another one of my absolute favorites, Iron Horse Quilter’s Irish Death Imperial Sweet Stout. Can’t tell you how happy that I can now get that beer just blocks from my house!
Good thing I live so close, because I went back later this afternoon! to try I knew that Trade Brewing Route was going to be pouring their new seasonal IPA later in the afternoon.
