Everett Community College Foundation’s Gusto brings together great Washington wine, food and beer to benefit the Everett Community College Foundation this Friday, October 2nd from 6:30-9:30. For only $40, you can sample from over 30 different Washington Wineries, 15 different restaurants and 4 Washington breweries. Great Food, Better Lives Gala
Fare Start’s Great Food, Better Lives Gala is the 17th annual celebration of FareStart students and graduates. The Great Food and Better Lives Gala is the premier fundraising even for the Fare Start organization, which provides culinary training to homeless and disadvantaged persons. The mission is to help them “achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food service industry“. Over 3000 individuals have benefited from this culinary training and Fare Start has served over 3.5 million meals to the homeless and disadvantaged.
The Fare Start Great Food, Better Lives Gala is October 11 from 5:00-9:30pm at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. It begins with a Champagne and oyster reception then evolves into hors d’oeuvres and dinner with wines available from Alexandria Nicole Cellars, Chateau Ste Michelle, Bergevin Lane Vineyards and Forgeron Cellars. The live and silent auctions offer more fantastic wine and food opportunities along with vacations, sporting events and more!
