While others deal with crowds and carnival food at the Bite of Seattle, you could sipping and sampling wine and food along the Kirkland waterfront this weekend. Kirkland Uncorked is the east side of the lake’s answer to a three day summer festival celebrating local wine, food and art.
Kirkland Uncorked consists of the Tasting Garden where you can sample wines, enjoy Pyramid beer by the glass, taste food from some of Kirkland’s best restaurants, shop for wine, enjoy musical entertainment and check off the grilling demonstrations and competitions. Entrance to the Tasting Garden, located in Marina Park, is by ticket only. A portion of all admission fees collected in the Tasting Garden will directly fund local research and education to fight heart disease via the Hope Heart Clinical Research Program at Evergreen Hospital.
