Foggy Noggin is a brewing!

This weekend, Foggy Noggin is brewing test batches in their newly inspected and approved brewing facility in Bothell. It has been a long wait, but on Dec 22, they received their certificate of occupancy and final inspection approval from Snohomish County. If all goes well, anticipate the grand opening of Foggy Noggin Brewing to take place in late February or early March.

Foggy Noggin Brewery will be brewing English styled ales on a very small 1/2 BBL system, making them one of the world’s smallest production breweries. Check out the photos on their blog, they aren’t kidding when they are talking small! Size alone will not be their only claim to fame. The intent of Foggy Noggin is to create excellently crafted brews of consistent high quality year round. They have two flagship beers:

  • Bit O’Beaver (English Bitter)
  • Christmas Duck (Robust Porter)

More beers are planned to be introduced as Foggy Noggin grows. The test batch of the Bit O’Beaver is in the fermenter now and looking good.

Stay apprised of Foggy Noggin progress via their blog, Facebook and/or Twitter account.
