Chocolate, Red Wine and BEER!

February brings a multitude of red wine and chocolate events, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Check out our wine events page for red wine and chocolate events all over the state. But what if you are more of a hop head? Are you looking for something a little bit different for your valentine? Or maybe you are wanting to play a bit with how the bitterness of hops and sweet malts interacts with fine chocolates? Who wouldn’t want to try some Gelatiamo Pike XXXXX Stout Gelato floats?

Pike Brewery is happy to announce their second annual Chocofest which celebrates over two dozen chocolates paired with over 20 different beer, wine, meads, absinthe and other spirits. Beverage experts and chocolate experts have come together to offer pairings for your tasting pleasure!

Balefire Chocolate, Beer and Wine tasting

Bring your loved one to Balefire for our tasting on Saturday February 13th from 4 pm to 9pm. We’ll have something for everybody. We will have several chocolatiers in the house to sample with a lineup of beers and wines. $20/per person for beer/wine tastes with chocolate.

Big Time Brewery Chocolate and Beer Night

Last year’s Big Time Brewery’s Chocolate and Beer night was fantastic. We loved the special one-off kegs paired with Theo’s chocolates. This year’s Chocolate and Beer night was originally scheduled for February 10, but has been postponed. Follow them on Twitter to learn when this highly recommended event will take place.
