Belgianfest Weekend 2010 Begins!

The global recession is impacting the availability of Belgian beer in Belgium, but there will be a LOT of Belgian style beer in Seattle this weekend thanks to the Washington Beer Commission!


Belgianfest Preview Night at Beveridge Place Pub starting at 6pm
Featuring: Elliott Bay Gulden von Boorian and Elysian The Red Queen (Green Flash collaboration) on cask

Belgianfest Preview Night at Naked City Taphouse starting at 6pm
Featuring: Ram Abbey style wheat ale and Pike Tripel Kriek on cask


Belgianfest Beer Dinner at the Corson Building at 6:30pm
The dinner will feature six of the Belgianfest beers paired with five courses prepared by the Corson Building chefs.  This event is sold out. Were you one of the lucky ones?

Belgianfest is divided into two sessions: 12-4pm and 6-10pm where participants will be able to choose between 50 different Belgian style beers, learn more about Belgian beers and sample Belgian sweets. Ed, Jonathan and I will be at the evening session, be sure to say Hi!

Tickets are no longer available online but there are still a limited number available at other ticket outlets.

Special brew available for WABL members so be sure to bring your WABL passports.
